¡¡Duan Guoping, assistant secretary-general of Art Glass Committee of China Industrial Arts Academy, manager of China Art Glass website, editor in chief of ¡°Art of Glass¡± graduated from Zhengzhou University in 1982.
¡¡Beginning producing and processing decoration art glass in 1985, he published the first art glass design book ¡°A Collection of Selected Specimens on Art Glass of China and Abroad¡± in 1988.
¡¡Published ¡°Encyclopedia of Art Glass Functional Designs¡± (2 copies) and ¡°Facture and Application of Art Glass¡± in 1999.

¡¡Develop art glass design application gallery and take the lead in intelligentizing the burdensome art glass craftwork and published ¡°Fuliglass Art Gallery¡± 2 copies)in 2000. At the same year, lecture art glass processing technique and make 15 art glass CDs for teaching.
¡¡Published ¡°Sand Carving Art Glass¡± technical book in 2000, which by now is still a teaching material for beginners.
¡¡The book ¡°Plane Art Glass¡± and ¡°The Enjoyment of Occident Art Glass¡± (5 copies) published in 2001 was sold to India and other countries.
¡¡The magazine ¡°Art of Glass¡± started in 2003 is a bimonthly magazine and the only academic publication in China, which also sold national and abroad as an authority publication of Art Glass Committee of China Industrial Arts Academy.
¡¡Undertake the first glass bookstore in Beijing, China to promote the glass art.
¡¡Publish ¡°Inkjet Printer Art Glass Skills¡± in 2005, and now China Chemistry Press makes an appointment with his manuscript. He is now working on the ¡°Encyclopedia of Glass Art¡± which prepares to be published in 2008.
¡¡His works ¡°The Beautiful Earth¡± win the gold medal on HuaYi cup industrial arts competition held by China Industrial Arts Academy in 2006.
¡¡From 2003 to 2007, he published 16 academic papers successively on magazine and newspaper. He was invited many times as expert and critic of National Art Glass competition; meantime he was invited as expert to Baoying, Jiangsu province to make lecture and attend opening ceremonies.
¡¡Duan Guoping dedicates himself to the cultural communication, education and training, technology extension of China Glass Art. He reports promptly dynamic industry and recommend famous people and company of the industry to the world. He concentrates on the studying of foreign glass art technique and brings in new equipments and tools and materials. He introduces famous foreign artists to Chinese readers and meantime he promotes Chinese artists and Chinese glass companies to international world by books, ¡°Art of Glass¡± magazine and websites.
